Community Resources

The California north coast bio-region is home to many vibrant rural communities. Clustered along the coast and our six rivers (the Smith, Klamath, Trinity, Mad, Van Duzen, and Eel), these communities are supported by an environment that is rugged, isolated, overwhelmingly beautiful, and most of all, fertile.

Our communities are bound together by their mutual desire and potential for food sovereignty, providing residents of the North Coast with an usually high number of community resources for growing, selling, purchasing, and consuming local food.
